Are you interested in reading, learning, and discussing how race and racism impact us at personal and professional levels? Are you interested in applying antiracism in your daily life? Then, join our Fall 2022 Antiracism Listening and Learning Series using How to Be An Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi. Starting November 11th, this offering has updated content based on your feedback.
In an interactive space with activities and discussion, five 90-minute sessions will focus on both personal and communal spaces, with the purpose of generating tools to translate Antiracist learnings into practice. Each session includes spaces for BIPOC and white folks to engage separately and together. This Series has been approved for the Network Racial Justice Requirement!
Open to all staff of all Network and LGBT HHS Initiative organizations. Participants must attend at least 3 of the 5 sessions to encourage rich dialogue and exchange.
Free books are available at registration.
